Production Log Week 9
This week our group continued editing our music video and then we finished it on Wednesday.We added more special effects into our music video and our group music video's last unit 3.22.
This week we had a different task to do that task was called music video codes of practice and regulations.This fits in with our production schedule because all of us in our group had different jobs to do, for example for the editing Omar had to find out which scene needs cutting to the beat and me and Yanick were editing the music video and we moved a couple of scenes in different order and for the end of the music video we had small clip of the break up and we added used special effect called desaturate tool on Final Cut Express.
There were some problems for editing our music video the problem was we had to move all of the scenes into the right place to make sure it fits with the lip syncing.We overcame this by moving all of the music videos into the correct place and at the end of the editing we watched over the video and all of the scenes of the music video matched in the order its meant to be.

Production Log Week 8
This week our group continued editing our music video and we filmed some new scenes the scenes that we filmed were in the upper school playground. The main character Omar was filmed sitting down on a bench and he was trying to phone up his ex girlfriend he wants to say I want you back but he doesn't get an answer from her and he looks sad and he feels like he is alone.
For our music video we also used special effects for example using the desaturate tool for the end of our music video.We improved from last week but five of our scenes were still out of place and does not fit in with our song that we have picked.
Our group also had to cut some of our scenes down and we moved them into different positions to make the music video more suitable and we also deleted some scenes that was no longer needed for our music video.We also have a deadline to finish our first draft this week. Our plans for our group next week is to add some more special effects to our music video and to have our music video finished by Wednesday which is our final deadline for our editing of our music video.

Production Log Week 7
This week our group carried on with our editing for our music video on Final Cut Express. We edited some of our shots for our music video and we managed to get up to 2:28 minutes but the song was up to 3.22.We had some good ideas for editing our music video for example adding special effects putting in fade in and fade out to make the video look like it is done by a professional. When we were editing our music video we added some of the shots more than once but we were still struggling editing our music video because the lip sync was off too much, and our scene were far too long and they should be cut more down to put other footage that we have done for the music video.
Our group only had one problem, the problem was putting all of the scenes in the right order to fit in with the song that we have chosen.Our group overcame this by moving all the music video scenes in the right place.Our plans for next week is to carry on editing our music video and to complete all of it.

Production Log Week 6
This week our group started editing our music video on the "Final Cut Express" on the iMac. We managed to finish our introduction and started our lip syncing scenes for our music video. We thought as a group that it would be a good idea to stick to the production schedule.
Furthermore we had our music video shooting script with us throughout the editing session to keep on track of what scenes needed to be edited and where the scene has to go to fit in with the song. We also had to cut the sound out of the scene because the song would go over the scene's of the music video.A limitation that occurred during editing was that we had trouble finding some of our shot for our music video because we re-shot some of our scenes for our music video and we as a group was confused.Also our group found it hard cutting the scenes to the beat of the song.We overcame this by having our shooting script with us when we was editing our music video on "Final Cut Express".Our plans for next week is to continue editing our music video on the iMac.
